Hey, hey, girlfriends! It’s been a couple of days without a post around here, and I can assure you that my abandonment comes with a completely legit excuse: moving. Ugh. Is there anything more soul-sucking than moving? I’m gonna go with a NO on that one. And even more than moving, packing your entire house into boxes and then leaving the actual “moving” part to your husband while you board a flight for Miami. True story over here. It’s been a crazy couple of days to say the least, and while skipping the moving part may sound like a dream, all I can think is “Please let that box of handbags make it over to the new house…” Luckily I really do have some amazing friends, and when Kathleen realized that I was, like, drowning myself in my own stress, girlfriend showed up with tons of boxes and a bottle of wine. (Boxes and booze, all a moving gal needs.) She seriously helped a sister out, and now I’m Florida-bound with my mind at least a little at ease.
And as for today’s blog look, I’m sharing a new designer collection at Kohl’s that I’m pretty excited about. Reed Krakoff bags have been a drool-worthy designer obsession of mine for years, so when I heard there was a brand new REED collection at Kohl’s, I was like Nah-ahh. But it’s true, people. I’ve seen it with my own eyes and touched it with my handbag-loving hands. There are a few really cute dresses (like mine above) and skirts, but the handbags are what really sucked me in. I couldn’t decide between this mini orange crossbody and this structured all black bag, so I got them both. Don’t judge me – I’d say drawing the line at just two was a victory. One of them is currently packed away and on its way to Miami while the other is packed up and hopefully making it over to our new house. But we’ll see how that goes when I return – fingers crossed. In the meantime, happy almost Friday, everyone!
