Back on Wednesday I told you guys that I hit the clothing department at Target for the first time in a while, and here’s why. I mean, the Victoria Beckham for Target collection, OBVI! I’ve been a Posh Spice fan since, well, the Spice Girls, and when she started churning out fashion, mean mugs and a serious sense of street style (with an A-OK hubby by her side) a few years ago? Well sign me up and take my money. Except cladding yourself in VB is notably a little pricey, y’all. Until now.
So I made a note of when the collection launched and thought I might actually be one of those early (cuckoo) birds in line at Target, ready to get my Posh on. But plans got in the way, I had an event scheduled, and eventually strolled into Target somewhere in the late afternoon. I tried on a ton of things in sizes that weren’t exactly mine, debated tailoring a few pieces, and finally decided on this sweet little mint number that was too good to pass up. It’s one of those dresses that I’ll have in my closet for years to come and will be that last-minute dress I grab when I “have nothing to wear.” Turns out, sometimes the late bird gets the word. Boom.
