If you’ve been following this blog for a bit, by now you know I’m a huge fan of T.J.Maxx.  When I need a specific outfit or when I just want to browse, it’s one of the first stores that I think of.  Their new in-store campaign, Maxx Life, is all about the style choices women make to express themselves, and I couldn’t identify with it more.  I dress according to my mood, so my own personal style is always an expression of who I am that day.  My main concern though is usually casual comfort.  I work from home in front of a computer every day, but sometimes I have to run out for an errand or meeting at a moment’s notice.  It’s important to me to have comfortable basics that still feel pulled together.  This poncho was a recent find at T.J.Maxx, and I immediately knew it had to come home with me.  It’s so soft, and the pockets and detailing make it feel so luxe.  Once we get a little cooler weather here, I’ll definitely be pairing it with skinny jeans and over-the-knee boots, but for now, I loved the girly feel of wearing it with this coated denim skirt.  (It’s also a new favorite – you’ll be seeing more of this skirt in posts to come.)  Add booties and accessories, and it turned out to be the perfect little fall look for me, comfortable enough for all day but something I would absolutely wear to meet with a client.  Hope everyone had a great week, and happy Friday!  How will your style choices this weekend express who you are?
