Walmart jeans and thermal tee; Barefoot Dreams sweater; Melrose Ave booties; BCBGeneration handbag; Ray-Ban sunglasses; Gorjana necklace; Bracelets here, here, and here
OK guys, so we’re officially mid-September, and besides a couple of brief looks (here and here), I’ve pretty much been avoiding fall fashion all together. The heat around here had me taking a hard pass on sweaters, boots, and new jeans until recently when I discovered the mother-load of affordable fall cuteness at Walmart. Not kidding, every single staple above – the jeans, booties, thermal, sweater, and bag – were all purchased in store or on Walmart.com.
The jeans have a great high rise, the cutest hem detail, and a price tag under $25, and the under $9 thermal tee is so soft I bought it in three colors. (I sized up for a looser fit in the thermal, am wearing a 4 regular in the jeans.) And then there are the booties. If I didn’t know the price of these, I’d never be able to guess. They look so much more expensive than they are, and added bonus, they’re seriously comfortable. (The camel color sadly sold out super fast, but you can still snag them in a leopard print or black leather. I’d also sign up for restock alerts in case your size is restocked.)
Below I’m styling the jeans and booties with a few other fall staples in hopes that I can conjure up some cooler weather. Think it’ll work? In the meantime, I’ll be pairing my thermal, booties, and short-sleeved sweater finds with my favorite denim shorts. Take that, September heat wave.
