Phew, this long weekend was really one for the books. We celebrated the Fourth of July with family, friends, a margarita or two, and way too much BBQ. There’s really no prouder time to be an American, and we got to chat with a few Australian visitors about how amazed they were at everyone’s enthusiasm for the day. We spent Saturday recovering by a pool, and yesterday we roamed around Laguna Beach for the day doing a little shopping and sightseeing. I picked up these floral shorts at a tourist-y stop for about $12, and they are so me for summer. I decided to do a little day-to-night styling with them and could pretty much live in these looks. A breezy blouse works for both, and a lightweight blazer is the perfect topper for nighttime. Switch from sandals to heels, and voila! Hope everyone had an amazing 4th and relaxing weekend!
