If you’ve followed along on the blog for a while, you’ve probably noticed I’ve got a thing for hats. Like, a real big thing. I guess I’ve got a thing with protecting my face from the sun, and although I’ve always got on SPF, a little dome topper protection can’t hurt. Plus I have the thinnest toddler hair and sometimes, a gal just needs a hat.
I’ve done a lot of trial and error in the lid department, and in 100% honesty – not all brands of hats, summer hats in particular, are created equal. And if you’re looking for the BEST bang for your buck, summer accessories that won’t break the bank but will actually last more than just one summer, then you need to check out San Diego Hat Company. I bought my first one maybe ten years ago from a little shop in Laguna Beach and still find myself reaching for it in the summertime. It’s kept its shape and is still just an easy, classic style.
This year I’m all about their woven bucket hats, the classic lifeguard styles that are currently everywhere, and cute bags like this one with the wooden handles. And if you’ve got your eye on something too, you can use code NIKKI20 to take 20% off the entire site. Now if we could only trade this May grey in for some sunshine.
