Happy Hump Day, friends! Last week I shared a few of my favorite details from our rainy wedding day with you guys, and this week I couldn’t resist sharing a few more of my favorite shots. The crazy (I mean, crazy) weather of the day caused a few changes in plans, and our rooftop wedding had to be moved indoors. Most of our photos took place under tents and balconies, and by the time we arrived (late) to our ceremony, the bottom of my dress was muddy and my veil was broken and half blown off from the wind. All of these details included, the day was perfect, and looking back at these photos, I’m reminded of how intimate it all felt. Huddling under umbrellas and tents during the day brought everyone in close, and moving the ceremony inside made it feel like everyone had to sit just a little closer. Today marks two whole months since our perfect rainy wedding day, and I can’t believe how time flies. Since then, we’ve bought a house, (almost) finished phase one of the remodel, moved in, shared quite a few headaches and a million more laughs. And there’s no one in the world I’d rather share it all with.
xoxo
P.S. – Stay tuned next week for one more Wedding Wednesday post from our big day, and this part was my absolute favorite – our second line! (And if you don’t know what a second line is, you’ll just have to wait and see!)
