Pumpkin Hunting

Brace yourselves, people, because I’m about to become a major broken record for flares this fall / winter / whatever season this is in Southern California.  I’ve been a fan of flares for years, and this season they’re everywhere.  I bought this McGuire pair during the last Shopbop sale, and before they could even come in I found the pair above for a total steal at Banana Republic.  So I figured, two pairs are better than one, right?  Sure, right.  These are thick with just the right amount of stretch, and I love that they’re clean, dark, and simple.  Wear them casual with an easy tank and kimono combo, or dress them up with a blouse and black blazer.  They’re so versatile for the months ahead, and at least one pair will definitely be in my suitcase this weekend.  While our original Jackson Hole plans have changed, we are still getting the heck out of town and have our sights set on Sedona, AZ.  It’s one of our favorite places in the world, and let’s just say I’m beyond counting down the minutes.  Let’s hope this Tuesday flies right by.
