White Out

In the spring and summer months, there’s nothing better to me than a heavy dose of white, so I always stock up on light and easy white blouses.  Likewise, comfortable, pull-on-and-go shorts are a summer staple, so I couldn’t resist this striped pair recently at Zara.  Camel wedges, a classic handbag, and neutral accessories finished off the look, and a fun beaded necklace added a little pop of color.  The necklace is by Bead for Life, an organization that teaches women in Uganda to make beads by rolling recycled paper.  It creates a sustainable uplift and a way for these women to support their families.  There are really beautiful designs on the site (love the handbags), and you can also purchase loose beads for those DIY projects you’ve been meaning to get around to.  What’s not to love about great accessories that actually give back?
