A few years ago I picked up a metallic envelope clutch from the sale rack at H&M for about 5 bucks, and since then I’ve probably worn it 3,768,328 times. (And then again here and here.) Seriously. It was a total impulse buy that turned out to be a wardrobe workhorse. The poor bag is beat to hell these days and facing retirement, so I’m on the hunt for an equally versatile, day to night metallic replacement. Let me tell you, there are some seriously great contenders out there. From crossbodies to clutches to buckets in a metallic rainbow, there’s a little something for everyone. I’m still narrowing, but numbers 7 and 11 above are looking pretty good. (I have the larger version of #7 in all black and have pretty much worn it to death.)
