When planning this past weekend’s stay-cation in Laguna, our obvious goal was to spend some time on the beach and catch a few rays. And then I realized that meant spending time in a swimsuit, and ultimately, the horrifying search for new swimsuits. (Cue the horror movie theme song…) The swimsuit search for me has never been an easy one. (I take that back. It was probably pretty seamless at the age of five.) But then I grew up and got curves, and it was all downhill from there. There are very few brands I’d deem “publicly acceptable” on myself, so when the opportunity came along to partner with Orchid Boutique and style swimwear from the site, my hopes were low at best.
And then I heard from the cutest customer service gal who swore she shared my “busty” issues, and I’m telling you, she was right. She recommended this suit from Maaji Swimwear, and I’m so glad that I tried it. I was shocked as hell when the thing actually fit, and I’m loving the accompanying coverup just as much. So whether you’re hard to fit like myself or easy as pie (Who are you, Gisele?), I’d definitely recommend taking a scroll through Orchid Boutique‘s super cute selection of designer swimwear and turning that horrified frown upside down. It’s swimsuit season, people: embrace it.
