Things lately have been…busy.  In a sort of “can’t come up for air”, “can’t believe I missed that email”, “can’t wait for the weekend” sort of way.  And also in a “can’t believe I have this opportunity”, “can’t believe this is my life” kind of way.  I’ve been blessed with so many great projects in the works, and on top of that, the holidays are coming up.  It’s my absolute favorite time of year, and yesterday I got to step back and remember that for a bit.  We did a little impromptu shopping for Christmas decorations, and after hurrying home to start decorating (a smidge early, I’ll admit), I can’t wait for the weeks ahead.  I was also reminded that I’m so fortunate to live only a couple blocks from the beach.  When things start to pile up, there’s really nothing better than taking in a beach sunset and enjoying a little wind in your hair.  (And perhaps a jog after your hat that’s now flying down the beach…but I digress.)  As the holidays approach, I hope everyone can remember to take a step back and appreciate the good around them.  Here’s hoping your week is off to a great start!
