Orange Is the New Black

The weather outside may not quite agree, but I am so ready for fall fashion and all of its trends.  At the start of every fall, I can’t wait for the September issues to come out, and this year’s did not disappoint.  I stocked up on magazines at Target, and today I’m working with Pollinate Media to create an outfit inspired by one of my favorite September issues, Vogue.  One of the key trends they highlighted for fall is “Orange Is the New Black,” and I couldn’t be more excited.  Orange is such a warm color for fall, and I love the slouchy, cozy feeling of this oversized sweater paired with lace-trimmed shorts, a patterned scarf, and heels.  Now I’m on the hunt for more orange pieces for fall (exaggerated wide leg pants perhaps?) and can’t wait to wear this sweater so many different ways.
