Not Quite Sweater Weather

Because a heat wave counts as sweater weather, no?  After a pre-fall leather skirt search, I picked up this little get-up a few weeks ago at H&M and instantly thought “New York.”  Fast forward to a sticky, 80+ degree morning in the Big Hot Apple, and a chunky sweater probably wasn’t the best idea.  But hey, “if you like it, wear it” is kind of my thought, and I liked it.  And most of my destinations had air conditioning.  So whatever.  Today I’m off to Palm Springs for the weekend where the high is over 100 degrees and anything heavier than chiffon just won’t do, but sometimes a weekend by the pool is just what the doctor ordered.  Who’s excited for Friday?!  This girl!
