Wayf shirt (on sale!); Levi’s shorts; Sam Edelman sandals; Hat; Zac by Zac Posen bag (c/o); sunglasses; Julie Vos necklace, bracelet, and rings; Kyboe watch
This past weekend I got to check out my first Miami Swim Week with Kyboe, and it was just as much fun as I had imagined. My original thought was how in the world are they going to have a fashion show made up of only watches? But when the show started, it didn’t disappoint. The show started off with the unveiling of a conveyor belt down the center of the runway, and watches started slowly moving forward on pre-positioned mannequin hands. Sounds kind of funny, right? It was. And all I kept thinking was holy cow, they got all of these people to this show to watch mannequin hands. Genius. But after a couple of minutes, models also began making their way down the runway wearing adorable swimsuits that matched their Kyboe watches. I thought it was super fun, and the more that I got to know the Kyboe team over the weekend, I realized that fun is what they are all about.
Also just as I had imagined it? The humid Miami heat. (I will say that I think New Orleans was hotter, but still – Miami Swim Week was toasty.) Little dresses like this one were about all I could manage, but this little lace-up top that I scooped up from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale was breezier than you might think. It’s super lightweight and is perfect for pairing with my favorite denim shorts that I’ve worn to death. Once fall rolls around, I can’t wait to wear it with flares or cropped skinnies and booties. Stay tuned this week for more looks from Miami and more of my favorite finds from the #nsale.
