Last week I got to attend my third Lucky FABB conference, and it was once again an amazing couple of days. If you haven’t heard me ramble on about it in the past, FABB is Lucky Magazine’s Fashion and Beauty Blogger Conference, and it’s pretty much like Christmas morning. (Well, if your Christmas morning involves one seriously stylish gathering with a couple hundred blogger buddies. No? Well anyway, it’s one of my favorite “holidays”.) I was so excited to catch up with a few favorites and came home with a couple of new friends this time around. Lucky FABB is such a place of constant inspiration for me, surrounded by so many amazing bloggers, brands, and editors that I both admire and love, and this season did not disappoint. My highlights from day one include an impromptu scarf tutorial from Eva Mendes, Topshop talk (and beyond) with Kate Bosworth, aNintendo-inspired mani that was definitely out of my comfort zone, and, of course, lots of laughing and a little cocktailing with the girls.
After planning and replanning my outfits and over-packing just a smidge, I went with a Southwestern-inspired look based aroundthese leather shorts for day one. Oh, and thanks to the lovely ladies at Raika Studio – we got to stop by the night before FABB for cocktails and dry styling, and with the right Paul Mitchell hair spray and dry shampoo, my beach waves were perfect for the next day. Hope everyone is having a great week!
