Holiday Style Under $50

So here we are, mid-December.  42 holiday parties down, 14 more to go.  And if you’re like me, that holiday wardrobe is starting to feel a little stretched thin.  The good new is, holiday style on a budget is easier to find than you might think.  Recently I headed to T.J.Maxx armed with a challenge: find a party look for $50.  What I found was the world’s most comfortable sequin skirt made by one of my favorite knitwear brands, so it’s lined with ultra-soft jersey.  (Anyone else feel like they’re being stabbed when wearing the usual sequin pieces?  Not cool.)  It’s got an Angelina-worthy side slit, and paired with this cozy little cropped sweater, it’s holiday perfection that’s under $50.  I kept the rest of the look simple with strappy sandals, a structured clutch, and rose gold jewelry to contrast with the silver sequins.  And of course, the ultimate holiday party necessity, a red lip.  Hope everyone is having a great December so far!
