Happy Monday, friends! Hope everyone had a great weekend because this girl sure did. Yesterday Eric and I kicked off the day with a fun 90’s themed brunch at Pasea Hotel. Eggs Benedict and mimosas with an ocean view and some sweet 90’s tunes? I’m so there. Then we rounded out the weekend with a walk to the beach to listen to Toby Keith performing at the Coastal Country Jam. The sunset was crazy pretty, and we got to stand in the sand and listen to live music. Weekends just don’t get too much better than that, folks.
This week kicked off 75 degrees and sunny, so I’m all smiles over here in one of my favorite new dress finds. To be honest, when I pulled this dress out of the box I wasn’t overly jazzed. It’s one of those dresses that’s not much on the hanger but so good on. I love the wrap waist and love even more that it doesn’t have a deep v-neck like most wrap dresses. (Busty gals, it’s a good one.) The floral burnout velvet is just so pretty in person, and I’m also thinking I need to grab one of these spring prints. (Also loving this more affordable version.) Plus, I swear these gold heels (last seen here) are just SO comfortable.
And now I’m looking forward to a short week ahead. Eric and I are playing hooky on Friday and heading up to Carmel Valley for a little weekend getaway. It’ll be my first time there, and I’m so excited. Feel free to email or message me your must see / eat / do recommendations if you’ve been to Carmel! Hope everyone has a great week ahead!
