I’ve mentioned my love of Pantene products quite a few times here in the past, and today I’m partnering with them once again to share some of my beauty, fashion and lifestyle regimens that keep me feeling strong and beautiful. For my overall strength and well-being, there’s nothing I love more than Pilates at Core Reform Pilates, and I’ve made it (pretty much) a part of my daily weekday routine. It’s the only workout that I don’t dread, and it’s become the best way to kick off my day. I try to go every morning (work permitting), and once I do, it’s that much easier to make healthy choices throughout my day. I recently discovered Jan’s Health Bar and am now obsessed – it’s the perfect post-workout juice or lunch stop. We’ll call that one a weekly routine, although some weeks it tends to be more of a daily habit. On Sundays, it’s a cheat day, and I take full advantage of takeout-and-vino nights on the couch with my main squeeze. Life’s about balance, right?
In this blogging world, it can be SO easy to look at other bloggers’ successes or campaigns and feel the need to compare myself. I constantly have to remind myself that it’s not a competition and to take a minute to just be thankful for how far I’ve come. I’ve made so many wonderful friends through this job, and it’s definitely become a priority to set aside some girlfriend time to chat and catch up. Kathleen and I (above) recently ventured over to Tanaka Farms for the necessary pumpkin patch visit. We were admittedly slightly overdressed for the occasion (and the weather), but that’s fine. We can laugh at ourselves. And we do…often.
And finally for the beauty routine. It all starts with the basics – shampoo and conditioner. I’ve used Pantene for years, and right now I’m all about Pantene’s Daily Moisture Renewal regimen. It’s a brand I trust and a product that just really works, and my hair feels stronger and more moisturized than probably ever before. I sleep with a braid every night to avoid tangles, and when my hair is feeling a little dry, I’ll leave some of the conditioner in overnight and rinse in the morning. I still torture my strands with blowouts and heat styling, but by paying attention to the basics and by using Pantene’s Daily Moisture Renewal Shampoo and Conditioner to keep my hair strong and hydrated, I don’t really stress about it. It’s all about balance, right?
What are some of the daily, weekly, or monthly routines keeping you sane, strong, and beautiful?
