Happy hump day, friends!  Allow me to introduce you to my favorite fringe skirt of fall!  (Insert heart eyes emoji here.)  Before heading off to fashion week I was browsing around on Shopbop (and buying ALL OF THE THINGS) when I came across this little fringe number.  And I was like, YESSSSS.  Once it arrived on my doorstep, I loved it even more.  It’s made of stretchy faux suede, and the fit is actually super flattering.  (It also runs true to size and is under $100.)  I paired it with a sheer blouse because the first couple of days in New York were beyond scorching, but I can’t wait to wear it with loose sweaters in the fall.  These boots were real lifesavers for running around the city, and this little calfhair bag I swear fits a whole lot more than one might think.  (Like, it fits a DSLR camera – score.)  I’m calling this outfit my “urban cowgirl” look because for some reason when I put it on, I looked in the mirror and told Kathleen that apparently I had come to New York City to wrangle some cows.  (I have no idea where these thoughts come from, they just pop into my head and I go with it.)  But cowgirl or no cowgirl, I’m pretty much completely obsessed with this fringe skirt and any skirt, for that matter, that makes a girl feel like twirling.

Great news, y’all – my favorite shirtdress on sale in the #nsale is back in stock in ALL SIZES!  (You gotta read that last part in your best Oprah voice.  Just trust.)  I’ve loved this pretty since I first laid eyes on it and actually included the striped version in my first post about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.  And then it sold out super fast, and I was like, whaaaaaaat?!  Sad face, bring it back, man!  And Nordstrom heard my pathetic cries and got this little dress back on the rack, STAT.  And just in time, guys, because the #nsale is over in just 4 short days.  It’s the FINAL COUNTDOWNNNN!  (I know, I know – you’re thinking – FINALLY!)  But hey, if you wanna pay $25 more for the same dress, you be my guest, girl.  All jokes aside, I really do enjoy this little frock.  It runs a little big, so if you’re between sizes, order down.  Or if you’re like me, order up and belt it.  Double buckle belt, y’all!  There’s nothing easier for fall than a shirtdress, and if you’re gonna get one, it may as well be a shirtdress on sale.  Am I right?!  Right on, friends.  And while you’re at it, pair it with my favorite leather jacket in the sale that’s also back in stock.  You win some, you lose some, and today, you’re just winning.  Happy weekend, y’all!

Hey, girl, hayyyy, today’s the day!  I mean it’s Friday and all, but the real reason for celebration is that the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale officially kicks off for everyone today, cardholder or not.  Are you guys sick of hearing about the #nsale yet?  Maybe you are, but I just can’t help myself.  Y’all, it’s the only time you can stock up on NEW SEASON goodies for crazy good prices.  This dress is definitely one of my favorite finds from the sale.  It’s available in 10 (yes, 10) different colors and prints, and during the sale, it’ll cost you right around $30.  Who doesn’t love a little black dress on sale?  Hellooooo!  It’s super cute unbelted (not a word, don’t care), but I couldn’t resist embracing the double buckle belt trend.  Have you guys seen this trend everywhere?  Because it’s every-damn-where, girl.  And then the booties.  Right now they’re under $100, and this fall I’m gonna be wearing these with everything I own.  Dresses, jeans, leather shorts…Every last thing!  And this gold handbag.  It’s totally not part of the nsale (like that lingo?), but I’m beyond obsessed.  It’s like jewelry in handbag form, and I’ll legit do anything to pile on a few more jewels.  So the moral of this sort of long story is this.  Sick of the Nsale or not, it’s worth taking a little look around.  Because once the sale is over, I’d still want these booties (and definitely this dress), but paying full price after a sale is just no bueno.  Feel me?  Now Friday on, people.
