I can’t believe it’s already here once again, but next week I’ll be heading back to New York for Fashion Week.  (Wasn’t I just there in February, frozen solid, taking in the prettiest shows?)  September’s #NYFW is without a doubt one of my favorite weeks of the year, and over the past few days, my mind has been focused on nothing but preparing for it.  We’re all planning our show schedules, meetings, shoot logistics, and (maybe most importantly) what to pack!  OK, maybe that’s not the most important part, but it’s a pretty big one.  The challenge is picking “fall-friendly” pieces that won’t give you a heat stroke in the middle of New York City.  Also, shoes that won’t make you hate life at the end of the day.  Challenge accepted.

I’ve got a few things figured out in the clothing department, but when it comes to the shoes this season, I was less than thrilled.  Sure, a pair of booties will take you a few miles in New York, but sometimes you want something a little different.  Enter my new best friends, the fall mules.  Y’all, I’m OBSESSED with so many fall mules right now.  Peep toes, pointed toes, heels, or flats, I seriously need a pair of each.  I love the classic appeal of that perfect mule and think there’s a pair out there for any outfit you can put together.  They’re great when paired with jeans, dresses, and anything in between.  Plus, the pairs I’ve tried have been SO comfy.  So today I’m rounding up a few of my favorite fall mules and trying to limit just how many of these I order for #NYFW.  But how’s a girl to decide?
