You guys, our little Jenni is getting married!  Well actually, she got married in the most beautiful ceremony in New Orleans.  I unfortunately couldn’t make it to the NOLA nuptials, but fortunately, our girl is doing it all over again next week in Cabo.  And you can bet I’ll be there – Kathleen and I are serving as her flower maidens (adult flower girls really), and we’re taking our task real serious.  I’m currently counting down the days until Cabo and trying to remind myself that I’ll be in a swimsuit SO soon.  And walking down the aisle next to skinny mini Kathleen, but I digress.

So naturally during our recent girls’ trip to Palm Springs, we had to throw a little bachelorette party for Jenn, and it turned out to be so much fun.  Jenn brought along personal karaoke mics for everyone, and if you know Jenn, this move is so very her.  And the mics were a total hit.  (They really are great for parties – they connect via bluetooth to your phone or computer and allow you to turn your singing volume up or down.  This is key for some, uh, singers.)

Along with the entertainment, we made sure there was decor, plenty of wine, and ALL of the snacks.  We pretty much lived on chips and Jenn’s famous sour cream ranch dip for two days, and looking back, #noregrets.  But, now we’re back in the real world and back to thinking about that Cabo body.  Or maybe I’ll just embrace the weekend for now and get back to the Cabo planning on Monday.  Happy Friday, everyone!

xoxo
