I can’t even believe it, but Christmas Day is officially ten days away. Less than two weeks! And while my holiday shopping list is not yet done, at least I’ll be stress-free when it comes to getting dressed. From holiday travel to dinner parties to cozy couch hangs at home, Walmart seriously has easy, comfy pieces for every occasion. The knit set above seriously feels so luxe, and I can’t recommend the sweater dress below more. (Thinking I may need to snag the red version too.) Also don’t sleep on the Free Assembly denim – this pair fits and feels like a way more expensive pair.

I’ve been posting lots lately about my love of all things fall, and while it’s really still too early to pull out the sweaters and boots and fall fashion things I want to wear, it’s never too early (in my book) to get the house autumn-ready.  Our dining room has always been my favorite room of the house to decorate for any season or holiday, and this year, I wanted to switch things up for fall, starting with our dishes.

We host friends and family for dinner a lot this time of year, so I knew I wanted dishes that would be pretty but also very functional.  When I saw this matte black set from Gap for Walmart, I loved the idea to incorporate some of the black from the rug, and once I received the dishes, I loved them even more.  They are sturdy, on the heavier side, and look so much more expensive in person than they actually are.  They’re also microwave and dishwasher safe, and having used them a few times and run them through the dishwasher, I can say they come out streak-free and just like new.  (I also think they will be so pretty during Christmastime.)

For everything else for our fall tablescape, I hit the Wow & Now section on Walmart.com.  Have you guys checked this section out?  It’s filled with fun, on-trend items to get your home ready for the season.  From the Wow & Now section, I snagged the table runner (not always easy to find them over 100 inches long), the faux flowers (that are arranged in the handle-free mugs included with the dishes), the leaf garland on our sideboard, and the matte gold flatware.  You guys, this flatware.  It comes in gold, rose gold, or black with options of matte or mirrored finish for each, and honestly, they all look so pretty.  I’ve wanted gold flatware for a while, so I couldn’t pass these up, and just like the dishes, they came out of the dishwasher looking just like new.

And just like that, you wake up one day and it’s December.  I can’t believe that Thanksgiving has already come and gone, but I can’t say I’m not excited for the weeks ahead.  The house is decorated (will be sharing our tree soon!), and I’m turning my attention to the holiday parties and all things sparkly.

It’s the MOST wonderful tiiiiime… It may be a little early for some, but for me, holiday season and my favorite time of year kick off as soon as November rolls around.  It’s my birthday month, the weather is finally getting cooler around here, it’s sweatpants season (here’s looking at you, Thanksgiving), and it’s time to start thinking about all those upcoming holiday parties.

Our little Wilma girl is currently on the mend from spay surgery, so I’ve had plenty of time over the last couple of days to catch up on some overdue work online shopping.  (Birthday month – treat yo’self, right?)  Fast forward to me spending WAY too much time scrolling around the brand new holiday collection from Scoop at Walmart.

Remember this little Scoop dress and this cozy sweater?  I’ve been a fan of the brand since they reemerged a month or two ago, but this holiday collection is seriously on another level.  I snagged a couple of knit leopard pieces (here and here), this fun little dress, this cozy boyfriend cardigan, and this adorable loungewear sweatshirt and jogger duo that I think is perfect for holiday travel.  I also had almost every single sequin piece in my cart until I remembered that my life in general isn’t very dressy and neither are the holiday parties we attend.  But the dressy pieces are just SO good!

Rounding up some additional favorites below, and if you fancy any, I’d recommend grabbing them as sizes tend to sell out fast.  (As I haven’t received my order yet, I can’t really speak to the sizing, but when in doubt, I order two sizes because returns are easy and free.)  Hoping you guys find some things you love!

I could probably ramble off a million reasons why I love fall – sweater weather, a favorite chicken chili recipe, football season, boots and booties, the countdown to Thanksgiving, all things pumpkin – the list goes on and on.  And somewhere at the top of my list is definitely seasonal home decor.  It’s just so nice having a few fresh updates in our everyday decor, and I tend to focus on our dining room and entryway.

Holiday shopping time’s winding down, y’all, and who’s left on your list?  I’ll tell you who’s left on mine – almost everyone.  How do I let this happen every year?  Get it together, Nikki.  BUT, if there’s a gal left on your list who loves beauty, I’ve got a little present for you today.  I’m rounding up some of my very favorite beauty finds that I’ve tried and tested and loved myself.

And I know what you’re thinking – a jar of bath salt for $30?  Here me out though.  Don’t you think it’s something she’ll love that she probably won’t buy for herself?  Trust, I’ve had this for baths, and it was such a treat.  And I certainly wouldn’t have bought it for myself.

Something else I never knew I needed?  Holy moly, treat the gal in your life to the PMD Personal MicroDerm Pro because I thought, mehh, I don’t think I need it.  But now I have it and need it, and, girl, you do too.  (And now I’m assuming you’re buying it for yourself, because you know, you might be.)  I’ve used it for a few weeks now, and I swear, my face looks different.  Different in such a good way.  I wake up in the morning and feel like maybe I don’t need makeup that day.

For the beauty-loving gal that has everything, get her this.  She’ll love you for it.  Or, get her anything above because I swear, it’s all good.  The mascara is my favorite of all time, the dry shampoo smells crazy good (and check out this candle, wow), and this eye cream is the greatest.  Get her something she’ll use over and over again.  Or get it for yourself – no judgement here, girl.

You know what I love more than anything in the wintertime?  (That brutally cold Southern California winter, ya know?)  Well besides Christmas lights and trees, a lit fireplace, and coffee with a splash of eggnog, it’s pajamas.  As evidenced by my very first gift guide this Christmas season, I love giving them, receiving them, and just generally living my best life in the season’s best PJ’s, robes, slippers and loungewear.  Throw in a little cocoa (or wine, let’s be honest), some sort of cheesy Christmas movie, and my main sidekick Weeze (who obviously has her own Christmas jammies), and I’m one happy camper.

So if your zest for a cozy PJ or two doesn’t quite match mine, you may want to scroll on.  For the rest of us, I’m rounding up some of my favorite sleepy-time gear below to give, receive, or just go ahead and buy for yourself.  There’s just no better way to holiday in my book.
