Hello, and happy Friday!  How WILD is it that we have already made it to November?  Super wild.  But I’m not gonna lie, November kicks off my most favorite part of the year.  First, it’s my birthday month.  Hey, hey, Scorpios!  And second, we are literally SO close to Thanksgiving and Christmas and New Year’s Eve and basically all of my favorite days.  We’re creeping up on fire in the fireplace weather, (relatively) guilt-free holiday treat binging, and generally days and days of pure happy.  So take it all in, friends, and read on for a few things I’m loving this week.  They don’t call it the most wonderful time of the year for nothing!

The Rooftop Lounge in Laguna Beach – Eric and I had brunch here a few Saturdays ago, and I’m still dreaming about this place.  It’s one of the best spots for taking in some serious Laguna views, and the menu offers a little something for every mood.  I had every intention of ordering the fancy lobster avocado toast, but when Eric ordered the grilled cheese and tomato soup, I had to copy.  #FOMO  And it was dee-lish.

Urban Decay’s Naked Cherry Palette – I’ve used Urban Decay’s various Naked palettes for years, and their latest “Cherry” edition is SO good.  My go-to shades have been “Caution” for all over the lid, “Turn On” for the crease, and “Drunk Dial” as a liner along my lashes, but there are a thousand other combinations I need to try.  If you’re a makeup lover like me, you have to add this one to the collection.

Sweat HB – I used to be a super dedicated Pilates-goer for years, but around January of this year, I was feeling burnt out on it and needed to take a little break.  That little break turned out to be a long one (I shared a bit about it here), but recently I was ready to start again. I bought a Groupon for Sweat HB and have been LOVING it.  They keep the studio on the darker side (no bright lights shining in your eyes) which I find relaxing, and all of the instructors I’ve tried have been great.  Plus, I love that it’s so close to my house.  I’ll definitely be joining when my Groupon is done.

L’Occitane Divine Eye Balm – Holy moly, is this stuff good.  I recently tried a sample of this and am now thinking I need to splurge on the full size.  (Early birthday gift from me to me, perhaps?)  I put a little under my eyes before bed, and by the morning I thought my eye area looked and felt tighter.  It’s pricey, but this stuff is the real deal.

This seriously fun party bag from Henri Bendel – With Halloween officially behind us, I’m super excited to bring on the holidays!  Give me all the turkey, sweater weather, trees, and general merriment.  And call me crazy, but I’m already thinking about festive party wear and can’t help but think this little penguin party bag is the ultimate conversation starter.  I also love this little pretty and think she needs to come home to me where she belongs.  Henri Bendel, please don’t close!

xoxo
