Oh heyyy, Friday!  What took you so long?  To be honest, I’m lying a bit because I kind of kicked off my weekend early yesterday with a most-needed girlfriends’ lunch with Kathleen, Corrine, and Mara (and her adorable little Augustine!), and lunch went a little long.  Way long.  And after three hours when we said our toodles, it still didn’t feel like enough.  One of those lunches that you don’t want to leave and friends that make you feel sane again.  (And if you’re not following them, do yourself a favor and check out their blogs.  AND, check out these OLD photos from back in the day with Mara – please excuse the terrible photos!)

But today I’m looking towards the weekend in the most weekend-friendly dress.  It’s super soft, a little oversized (I’d size down if I reordered), and dolman sleeves that I love.  It comes in a couple of colors, and if you’re a football fan with a color somewhat near this one, I can’t recommend it more.  And the bag is definitely a new go-to.

And here’s the best part: it comes from ABLE, a fashion company we can all get behind.  With every purchase, you’re empowering women and helping communities, locally and globally, to thrive.  They create jobs with dignity in communities in the world deeply affected by poverty and focus on worker rights and safety.  I’m a fan of the company and a super fan of the clothing, shoes, and leather goods, and if you want to learn more, here’s a link.

Here’s hoping everyone has a great weekend ahead, and Mother Nature, can a girl get a little fall breeze?

xoxo
