Pink Shift

PicturePicturePicturePicturePicturePictureRiver Island dress (c/o);  Just Fab sandals (c/o);  Forever 21 clutch;  La Mer watch (c/o);  ASOS sunglasses

I’ve never really been a fan of pink.  Not in my adult life anyway, and definitely not hot pink.  It’s a little too Barbie for me with the blonde hair and all.  But then there’s this dress.  The minute I put it on, I knew that it was the perfect “shift cut” for me.  It fits to a T, and I love the cutout detail in the back.  I wore this yesterday for Mother’s Day dinner, and it completely hid my margaritas and over-eating by the end of the night.  A simple pair of black sandals and minimal accessories completed the look.  Although I couldn’t spend Mother’s Day with my own mama (I guess all last week in Boston will have to do), it was an amazing evening with my second family in California.  I hope everyone had an amazing Mother’s Day and weekend!
xoxo

Hi! It’s UK sizing, so their 6 equals a 0 here, 8 equals 2, etc. I’m a size 4/6, so the dress I’m wearing is actually a size 12. Hope that helps!

Just ordered the dress! 🙂 Now, you have to find some similar sandals for me that come in a size 5! 😉
