There’s something about fringe that just makes any outfit more fun.  And a skirt full of swingy, twirly, faux suede fringe?  The most fun.  I was recently forced to clean out my closet for a sample sale that I was a part of (shoutout to The Stylist LA sample sale for making a girl get organized) and came across this skirt, last seen here.  And then the fringe clutch that I was obsessed with a couple of seasons ago.  And I was like, where have you two been hiding all this time?

So I decided to give them another whirl on the blog, and although they’re both long sold out, I’m linking a couple of super similar pieces above and below.  I figured I’d do the same with my favorite denim jacket that I’ve worn to pieces, but then I discovered that you can still snag this baby in almost all sizes.  (It runs big, so I’d definitely recommend sizing down.)  Plus she’s on major sale at half off the original price.  And trust me, this denim jacket (like most) only gets better with age – after around 1,000 wears, it’s one of the softest jackets I own.

Throw on a bright sweater and a worn-in pair of over-the-knee boots and I’ve got a throwback look that combines a few of my favorites.  It’s a little reminder to me that sometimes all I really need is a little shopping trip through my own closet.  Anyone else love finding old favorites and making them new again?

xoxo
