Last season, Jenn, Krystal, Kathleen and I kicked off our New York Fashion Week with the cutest brunch with Oasis, and this season, we couldn’t wait to do it again.  Once again, we each got to style looks from Oasis, and this time, there were a few more layers necessary.  My first priority was finding a coat because living in Southern California, I didn’t really have one.  I loved this long neutral one, and it ended up being the only coat that I brought with me to New York.  (So apologies if you’re sick of seeing it, but it was the true definition of “on repeat.”)  And speaking of wearing something every day, this turtleneck.  I knew NYC was going to be cold, but I just couldn’t be prepared for how cold it really was.  I was so glad that I brought this turtleneck because I somehow managed to layer it under pretty much every outfit of the week.  (See here and here.)  It was the perfect extra layer under anything, and I loved the way that the stripes contrasted with other prints that I brought.  The four of us headed to the Upland Restaurant on Park Avenue, and it was so yum.  You may think I’m crazy, but I have three words for you: brussels sprouts pizza.  I know, I know.  Not what you’d think to order, but trust me, y’all.  It’s delicious.  That, and coffee by the gallon, and we were set.  Oasis once again provided the perfect way to kick off our stay in New York and the perfect pieces to prevent me from freezing to death.  A win-win I’d say.

xoxo
