One to Know: Commodity Goods

PicturePicturePicturePictureI’ve worn the same perfume every day now for years and had no plans of changing it, but when I received an email about Commodity Goods, I thought it sounded like a pretty cool concept.  For $9, you can receive your own “fitting kit” complete with samples of all ten of their women’s or men’s frangrances to try on at home.  The idea is to take your time, check each of them out (away from a department store counter), and figure out which scent or scents work for you.  Once you choose what you like, you can order a trio of 10ml sprays or a 100ml bottle of your favorites.  (They’ll even credit back the $9 spent on the fitting kit.)  The packaging is simple but so pretty, and the scents are pretty addictive.  I love something light and floral for day, and Dew and Rain fit the bill perfectly.  Today I switched things up and tried out Gold, and it is now my favorite for a night out or special occasion.  It’s warm and rich, perfect for a summer night.  I’m thinking these will be my perfect trio, but I’ve still got a couple scents to try.  As a blogger, I get a lot of emails about new brands and beauty launches, and this one is definitely a keeper.  If you’re feeling like you’re in a fragrance rut or just want to try something new for spring, a Commodity Goods fitting kit is definitely worth checking out.
xoxo
