One of my favorite summer pieces is definitely a flowy maxi skirt, but who says you can't wear it now? Winterize your favorite summer maxi by pairing it with a slim-fitting sweater, a sleek blazer and some seriously sweet booties. A word of caution on those Sam Edelman boots; they run very small. I had to send them back to 6pm at my own expense. I would order at least one size larger than what you usually wear.

I would never dream of wearing a skirt in the winter months but this outfit is so well put together, I just might! My favourite piece is the sweater!
