Regardless of the season, there's always a spot (pun intended?) in my closet for leopard.  I love the fun print and cutout back of this little mini dress mixed with the ladylike cut.  Paired with an intensely ankle-strapped heel and a bold clutch, it's springtime perfection.  Finish the look with classic gold accessories and an adorable pair of retro shades.  Hope everyone's week is off to a great start!

If you're a little late to the wedge sneaker party, then there's no better time than spring to jump on this comfy bandwagon.  Tone down the ultra-sporty vibe of this mesh lace-up version with a loose yellow cocoon dress and a fitted, cropped jacket.  Finish the look with oversized shades, a weekend-friendly messenger, and statement silver jewelry.  Anyone ready for the weekend already?

A silk tie-waist shirt dress (preferably in basic black) is a seasonless and timeless piece that works just as well with heeled sandals in the summer as it does with tights, boots and a coat in the winter.  For those in-between times, pair the easy classic with statement spiked heels and an icy palette of silver and blush for your goes-anywhere, nine-to-five-and-beyond, go-to look.  Hope everyone is having a great week!

Track-like, non-scandalous leather shorts are the wardrobe staple you'll probably wear more than you think and are a serious no-brainer for this girl (as seen by a slight obsession with a certain H&M pair herehere, and here).  For a laidback night out with friends, pair them with a loose chambray button-down and sky-high booties, and add a faux fur snood for warmth.  Finish the look with an eye-catching python clutch, stacks of gold accessories and a simple topknot.  What are the pieces in your wardrobe on heavy rotation?

Well the weekend is here again, and I can see no better time to stomp around in an all-out boho ombre fringe jacket and edgy studded booties.  Ground the standout separates with a simple sack dress, and further the ombre effect with a turquoise handbag.  Finish with sleek silver accessories and easy shades for a look that will take you from your Saturday errands to a laidback night out with friends.  Happy Friday, everyone!

If the holiday sweets and obligatory eggnog have already left you feeling a bit stuffed into your skinny jeans, then this sweatshirt-turned-minidress is just what the doctor ordered.  Jazz up the comfy, cozy little number with platform shoe-boots and over-the-knee socks, and compliment the laidback vibe with a floral scarf and quilted messenger bag.  Finish the look with standout silver jewelry and mod-meets-retro shades for a cool, girl-about-town appeal.  Hope everyone is having a great week!

Lately I'm pretty convinced that my closet is in desperate need of a full, leather-ish skater skirt for a quick sweater pairing when skinny jeans and jeggings lack their usual winter appeal.  Worn with sensibly tall boots, an easy messenger and slightly edgy jewelry, this look works just as well for day as it does for a fun night out.  What items are you currently craving for your winter wardrobe?

It may sound strange, but a leather (or leather-like) shift dress is a closet staple that you'll probably wear more than you think.  For a simple daytime feel, pair it with easy ankle booties and a biker-inspired jacket, and finish the look with a luxe crossbody bag and edgy jewelry.  For a fun night-out look, throw on a dressed up jacket, look-at-me heels and statement jewels to transform this versatile mini.  Whether you scoop up this adorable version from Topshop (above), splurge on this (seriously drool-worthy) Rebecca Minkoff take, or any of the other options below, this eye-catching LBD will not disappoint.

After creating today's post, I took one complete look at it, and three words came to mind: Taylor. Tomasi. Hill.  As New York City's resident redhead fashion force and the former accessories director of Marie Claire Magazine (where she created hands-down some of my favorite accessories-based editorials), Taylor is photographed as frequently as an A-list celebrity because of the way she effortlessly epitomizes New York street style.  I love the above mix of a feminine, quilted wrap skirt with an ultra-soft basic tee and zipper-embellished biker jacket.  Add a couple of unexpected touches with a snake-print clutch and open-toe sandals, and finish with classic Wayfarers and chic silver accents for a look that (I hope) would be very Taylor-approved.  Happy Friday, everyone!

There's no surer way to jazz up your fall wardrobe than with a biker-style little red jacket.  Wear it over a basic tank and skinny jeans for day or throw it over an asymmetrical dress and d'orsay pump combo (like the look above) for your next Girls' Night Out.  Finish this bold pairing with a colorblocked clutch and standout silver jewelry for a look that is bound to turn a few heads.  Hope everyone is having a great week!
