Forever 21 dress (old); Old Navy jacket (c/o); Michael Kors clutch; Banana Republic wedges; Gorjana necklace and rings (c/o); Julie Vos bracelet (c/o); Lulu's bracelet (c/o); Ray-Ban aviators
I'm all about incorporating a little color into my wardrobe this summer, so I'm excited to team up with Crystal Light and Glam for the #FeeltheFlavor Instagram contest.  This one is all about bringing flavors to life and finding colorful moments from the everyday inspired by the six new Crystal Light Liquid flavors - Strawberry Lemonade, Peach Bellini, Iced Tea, Pomtini, Blueberry Raspberry, and Mango Passionfruit.  Whether you're inspired by style (your own or someone else's), decor, or entertainment, share your finds on Instagram with the hashtag #FeeltheFlavor for a chance to win one of four goody bags full of fun summer essentials.  (See rules and enter here.)

The look above makes me think of Strawberry Lemonade, and this bold pink mini dress is probably the brightest thing I own.  It's an oldie but goodie for sure.  (Some would say I have a problem letting go of things in my closet, but when I pull out a dress I love that I haven't worn in years, it makes the clutter a little more worth it, no?)  Since it isn't quite summer yet, I paired it with an easy denim jacket.  Nude wedges, aviators, and a straw clutch completed the look.  What flavors in your closet, home, makeup bag or surroundings are currently inspiring you?

Classic white skinnies are definitely a spring and summer must-have, but finding the perfect pair can be a real challenge.  I always look for a pair with the right amount of stretch in a denim that is just a bit thicker.  The price tag of these "Rock Star Super Skinny Jeans" from Old Navy made me a little skeptical about the quality, but I was pleasantly surprised once I tried them on.  They fit like a glove, are available in about a jillion colors, and will only set you back $19.  Steal.  This past weekend, I paired the spring denim with a lightweight blouse, a structured jacket and heels for dinner and later dressed them down with an easy chambray shirt and flats.  Whether dressed up or worn casually, you really can't go wrong with a great pair of white skinnies.  How will you wear them this summer?

In today's final installment of "amazing things I've found at T.J. Maxx", we're talking spring prints, and I'm in love.  I spotted this softer-than-butter silk floral blouse back during week 1 of this campaign, and I knew that I had to work it into one of the spring trends.  (What can I say, when a shirt is talking to you from five racks away, you listen.)  It's one of those classic, versatile pieces that can be dressed up or down (like in the look above), and at over sixty percent off of the original price, it was a pretty sweet deal.  Paired with distressed cutoffs and easy sandals (both from favorite brand names), this blouse is one of those timeless investments that just so happens to be in an of-the-moment floral print.

For this week's second look (or first, I guess), I was definitely drawn to these wide leg chambray jeans by a favorite denim designer.  (Actually, my first pair from the brand as they were a sweet seventy percent off of the original price.)  They feel amazing on, and the lighter wash is perfect for spring and summer.  Sleeveless white blouses have become a sort of collector's item for me, and I fell in love with the fit of this candy-colored striped blazer, which is rare.  Both looks paired perfectly with the straw clutch, probably one of the best deals that I've found.  I'm sad to see this campaign end, but I hope you guys have enjoyed checking out some of my amazing finds from T.J. Maxx.  And if you haven't already, make sure you enter to win your own little TJ shopping trip.  Simply upload a picture of your own Style Scout finds via Instagram, Twitter or Facebook and tag #maxxstyle.  Be sure to include the designer name of your score and the price.  (Check out the full rules here.)  Happy shopping!

Outfit #1: Tee: (c/o) Old Navy; Scarf: (c/o) Old Navy; Shorts: Free People; Sandals: (c/o) Old Navy; Bag: Cynthia Rowley; Sunglasses: Ray-Ban; Bracelet: (c/o) Julie Vos
Outfit #2: Tee: (c/o) Old Navy; Shorts: Forever 21; Necklace: Zara; Bag: Harper's; Watch: Caravelle by Bulova; Rings: Vanessa Mooney
Basic tees are definitely a year-round staple, and this spring, I'm stocking up.  Recently I popped into Old Navy to check out their spring tees and was delighted by what I found: loose and easy styles in ultra-soft fabrics for a sweet buy-one-get-one-free deal.  The white varieties have just the right opacity, and the vintage slub knits (like the grey version above) feel like they've been washed to perfection.  Go for a laidback daytime look by pairing a long-sleeved pocket tee with denim cutoffs, sandals and a bold scarf, or mix it up by tucking a short-sleeved v-neck into faux leather shorts.  Finish both looks with fun, statement jewelry.  Dressed up or down, Old Navy's collection of basic tees will add a whole new feel to your spring wardrobe.

One of spring's biggest trends this year, a black and white color palette is versatile and incredibly easy to wear.  When thinking about this week's T.J. Maxx challenge, I couldn't really decide which way I wanted to approach the trend because there are so many ways to do black and white right.  I spent the better half of my time at T.J. Maxx roaming through rows and rows of short dresses and was deciding between a couple when I came across this shirt.  The fabric is the perfect soft jersey, and there's just something so classic about a striped tee for spring.  (I also always appreciate any white shirt that isn't overly sheer.)

Then for the bottoms.  My first thought was to pair the striped top with black skinnies, but let's be honest: sometimes spring calls for a little leg.  The scalloped hem of these black shorts is such an unexpected but welcomed detail.  The final pieces of the puzzle were a snake-embellished crossbody bag and knotted rope sandals that I'll be wearing all summer.  I love this look for laidback spring weekends and could easily kick it up a notch by adding wedges and a few pieces of statement jewelry.  How will you be incorporating black and white into your spring wardrobe?  Show us by uploading a look via Instagram, Twitter or Facebook and tagging #maxxstyle, and don't forget to share the designer and price of your T.J. Maxx score.  A few lucky readers can win gift cards up to $500.  (See full rules here.)  Happy shopping!

"I'm in love, I'm in love and I don't care who knows it!"  OK, let's back up.  I'm in love with a bra company, and here's why.  Bra shopping to me is right up there with cleaning toilets and having teeth pulled, and in fact, if given the choice, I'd probably say "hand me the bowl brush."  Or maybe not.  But it'd be a close call.  Enter True & Co.  This seriously sweet company has revolutionized the whole bra-shopping shebang.  All you have to do is fill out a quick and painless little quiz.  Then, their experts will choose two bras for you, and you'll choose three.  (I'm not gonna lie, I've tried on "expert picks" before and have never been satisfied.)  Try them on in the comfort of your own home.  Keep (and pay for) what you like, and send back the side-boob-causing ones you don't.  It's that simple.  As far as department store lingerie departments go, the prices on True & Co. are more than bearable (my picks ranged from $45 to $60), and the shipping is free.  The whole process was so painless, and I'm left with four new bras that I absolutely love, two of which were chosen by the experts.  (Go figure.)  So what are you waiting for?  Go on, girl, get comfortable.

Today's post is the sixth and final post in my spring style series with Target, so I wanted to highlight a few of my favorite trends and looks of the season.  A serious spring no-brainer, pastels are a sure way to lighten up your wardrobe (and perhaps your general mood) in a hurry.  Another given during spring?  Floral prints.  Whether you wear this trend in a floaty sheer top or fun pair of jeans, a spring floral is an absolute spring must-have.

This season, add a couple of fresh takes to your spring uniform with stripes, polka dots, sheer fabrics, lace and dip dyes.  Create a fun look by pairing an easy striped skirt with a polka dot clutch in a similar colorway.  A sheer-ish blouse, hat and layered jewelry complete the look.  (On a side note, I have the above sandals in black from last year and fully intend to purchase them in several colors this year.  Love.)  For a more dressed up take on this year's spring trends, try the look below complete with dark skinnies, a great blazer, mixed prints and standout accessories.  I've had so much fun with this series of Target posts, and I've come across so many great spring finds.  How do you plan to integrate this year's trends into your spring wardrobe?  Happy weekend, everyone!

When I found out that this week's T.J. Maxx style challenge was based around spring brights, the first thing that came to mind was their amazing selection of bright spring denim.  While scouting out looks for last week's ladylike post, I was constantly drawn back towards the racks of designer denim in every print and color under the rainbow.  This week I narrowed it down to three bold choices, and after much in-store debate, I ended up heading home with this pair of turquoise skinnies.  The denim is so soft, and they fit like a cozy little springtime glove.  (Although I'm pretty sure there's no such thing as a cozy little springtime glove.  Anyways...)  I can't wait to wear them with so many other pieces from my closet, but I love them paired with this light-as-a-feather sheer-ish yellow blouse.  A neutral and coral handbag added the final burst of spring color, while the versatile sandals from last week's post rounded the whole look out.

Don't forget - you too can get in on the fun!  Submit your own T.J. Maxx Style Scout looks for a chance to win up to a $500 gift card.  Simply upload a picture of your T.J. Maxx style scores via Instagram, Twitter or Facebook.  Tag #maxxstyle, and include the designer name and price of your find.  (View full rules here.)  Good luck!

If you haven't noticed by now, "it's time for springtime".  (At least it is according to me, my blog, and Target.  My apologies to those of you looking at snow right now.)  It's this time of year (and let's admit it, many others) that I am so thankful for the weather where I live.  With this week's theme du jour being stripes, many people would immediately think of a cozy striped sweater.  If you're searching for a little sunshine, feast your eyes on the bright and cheery, flippy and fun striped mini dress above.  I'm in love.  Are you?

Although it isn't very hard to come by, a good stripe is one of those prints that is perfect for guys, girls, babies and couches and can fit easily into the thickest wool sweater and the flirtiest of summer dresses.  The mini above pays extra attention to a woman's shape and the color combination is so right on point.  Paired with a chain-strap bag, oversized shades, a fun floral shoe and delicate gold layers of jewelry, it's springtime perfection.  But if it isn't quite your thing, turn your gaze below to the slightly grown-up maxi form of the spring stripe.  I love the balance of blush and black, and this maxi plays so well with a simple sandal, beaded jewels and a crossbody bag.  Top it off with, what else, a striped scarf.  How are you incorporating stripes into your springtime wardrobe?

Dress: (c/o) Old Navy; Wedges: Urban Outfitters; Bag: (c/o) Gorjana; Sunglasses: Ray-Ban; Necklaces: (c/o) Old Navy
Lately I've been focusing on finding great style on a budget, so I'm really excited to partner with Old Navy for the next few months to show you some of the season's hottest trends without blowing your rent check.  This week the topic is dresses, and I was not prepared for how many dresses I'd find (and love!) during a way-too-long trip through Old Navy.  I finally chose this colorblocked silk shirtdress because, well, I just love it and that's reason enough.  Plus it's incredibly versatile.  It's lightweight and comfortable and goes just as well with a pair of sandals as with a pair of wedges or heels.  Whatever your style, from eyelet fit-and-flares to jersey maxis, there's a flippy little something for everyone, and for a limited time, they're all on sale.  The best part about spring's wide range of dresses?  It's so easy to make them all your own: belt 'em, jacket 'em, throw on some jewels.  There's no better time to upgrade your wardrobe!
