Friday night we headed out to a new local happy hour and enjoyed such a beautiful sunset on the walk home.  I've been wearing these H&M coated skinnies nonstop and love the simplicity of pairing them with a basic white peplum top, a Lucky Pick borrowed from Brooklyn Blonde.  A red handbag and leopard flats added a needed splash of color.  Hope everyone had a great weekend!

One of the trends that I'm definitely looking forward to this fall is texture, and while leather and faux fur would be my fabrics of choice, I figured a lace peplum and boucle shorts are a little more appropriate for the 85+ degree weather we've had this week.  Add a little polish to the chic fall pairing with a cap-toe flat, perforated leather handbag and sleek jewelry choices.  Finish with look-at-me shades for a look that is pulled together, cool and comfortable.
